🔍 Deep Dive: Signarama Providing Competitive Edge

Signarama has reinvented the way franchising creates value through its implementation of an AI-powered financial platform and custom CRM. Deviating from just brand recognition, bulk purchasing, and standard operations, this rollout integrates an all-inclusive model.

Among the bells and whistles featured are AI-driven financial benchmarking, performance analytics, and lead management, elements often out of reach for small shops or mom-and-pop businesses.

The goal is to centralize data intelligence and technology, providing commercial printers with a competitive edge.

🖨️ Technology Trailblazers

  • Dentists can now print crowns in under 10 minutes thanks to the PioNext Mini Dental 3D Printer. A crown is recommended when protecting a damaged tooth or restoring its function and is often less terrible than a root canal.

  • Speedpro Signs Hamilton, a leading provider of digital printing solutions, has added a high-productivity printer to its inventory. The HP Latex 800 W Printer is renowned for its white-ink printing abilities, making it a favorite for those creating window decals, high-end stickers, and vehicle graphics.

  • Summa is showcasing its latest technology at Printing United, taking place in Orlando from October 22nd to 24th. Known for its cutting-edge cutting solutions, Summa will demo its F1625 flatbed cutter at booth #4336.

  • OneVision Software is unveiling its latest invention, AI Billboard Validation, at Printing United as well. This rollout event underlines automation solutions for the European market with an emphasis on OOH advertising.

🚀 Taking Hobbies to New Heights

Hobbyists can now channel their inner astronauts with the Estes Rockets Pro Series II Scorpio 3D. This model combines traditional construction with 3D printing, offering intermediate-level enthusiasts a sky’s-the-limit opportunity to elevate their hobby—and make neighborhood kids jealous.

🏢 Movers and Shakers

  • HEIDELBERG Label Day takes place on November 12th! This day is marked by exciting advancements in the world of label production and is a must-attend open house for those who are sticklers for stickers.

  • Xerox, a print industry OG, has been awarded the 2025-2026 Pacesetter Award in Manufacturing by Keypoint Intelligence, a firm using market research to evaluate document imaging and technology vendors.

  • A commercial printing facility in Random Lake is going the way of the Dot Matrix Printer and will permanently close up shop next year due to a downturn in business. Unfortunately, this will result in the loss of approximately 104 jobs. In rosier news, a new factory with the ability to 3D-print industrial-grade parts for the Navy is opening in Dededo, Guam, creating at least 80 jobs.

  • A Minuteman Press recently threw the St. Charles Paw Parade a bone by printing flyers for this community event. A yearly, dog-centered tradition, this parade invites Fido to get fancy and Sasha to strut her stuff; it takes place on October 4th.

🥸 Printing Ponderings

A 3D printer was first sent into space in 2014. NASA partnered with Made in Space to install a 3D printer on the International Space Station, enabling astronauts to print their own tools. Ironically, the first object ever 3D printed in orbit was a new faceplate for the printer itself.
